About Me
I started bladesmithing at 10 years old, in 2016 learning basic forging while volunteering at a living history museum. That winter my dad helped me build my first forge and I got some tools from the local NWBA swap meet.
6 years later I took a class with ABS master smith James Rodebaugh, who got me in contact with a local master smith, David Lisch, who I took a takedown bowie class with, in the winter of 2022.
In the fall of 2024, I started my freshman year of college, studying Metallurgy and Materials Engineering at the Colorado School of Mines. While there I make knives in the Intro to Bladesmithing Class shop, where I am one of the head TAs, teaching students how to make their first two knives.
In the summer of 2025, I completed by ABS Journeyman smith certification at Bladeshow Atlanta.
